The first 10 minutes of watching Sweat traverse the tunnel is pure brilliance! Wow!
Ben Stiller provides a great opening sequence of Sweat going through the tunnels. It is only lit by the torch on his helmet.
This is a dry run but for Sweat and Matt, the time for escape is near. They just need to keep their heads down and stay out of trouble. Not easy when a fight breaks out in the prison yard.
For Tilly this is also a tense time. Her husband Lyle takes her out for dinner in King's Wok. At one point she even is nice to her husband, it causes a panic attack when she is supposed to be the ride out of town for the escaping prisoners.
What really stands out is the unsympathetic portrayal of Tilly. Just look at the way she orders and pays for the early morning donuts and then throws it at her husband.
The series has gone up a notch. The escape is happening, this is no longer a pipedream as we see Sweat run down the tunnels.
