Host Alan Fletcher travels to the Land of Fire and Ice where he kayaks on a glacial lagoon, hikes across a glacier to discover a hidden ice cave and chases down a pod of elusive Orca in seas off Olasvik. Along with his director Stig, Fletch tours this tiny Island's spectacular waterfalls and scenic wonders all the while hoping for a glimpse of the legendary Northern Lights. Finally they explore Iceland's capital, Reykjavik taking in the city's landmarks, it's quirky side and it's celebrated nightlife.

In Scotland Alan meets with a local bagpipe maker then has a quick game of golf before heading off to photograph the UK Lakes District. The road trip ends in Liverpool where he indulges two great wishes, football and the Beatles.

Alan seeks out his heritage in Abingdon before heading to London to photograph this iconic city from every possible angle. He goes underground to the British Mail Rail, then delves into the city's nightlife and music scene before visiting a wildlife park.

Alan takes an emotional pilgrimage to visit war graves in the Somme before heading off to Paris to explore the city's hidden secrets. From abandoned railways to art studios, wedding photography to champagne, snails and chocolate. A visual and culinary feast.

Alan explores Melbourne's iconic laneways and rooftops, tours the Melbourne Cricket Ground. A road trip along the picturesque Great Ocean Road. An exploration of indigenous culture in the Grampians with blacksmithing and steam trains thrown into the mix as well.

Alan explores the quirky side of LA's structural art and has a Hollywood experience on set of the Bold And The Beautiful. He explores the Joshua Tree National Park then on to photograph all the glitz and the grunge of Las Vegas.

Alan photographs the scenic splendor of Utah including the Dixie Rodeo, Park City, the Utah Grizzlies training ground and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir before driving south to Monument Valley to meet with members of the Navajo nation.

From sea to sand, Alan journeys through Morocco photographing the port of Essaouria, the vibrant tourist mecca of Marrakesh, the Atlas Mountains, desert Ksar's and Kasbahs, Bedouin nomads of the Sahara Desert and the Atlas Film studios.

Alan visits the Nambiti Plains private game park in search of 'the BIG 5', explores Zulu culture and life in Durban, heads to Namibia to marvel at huge sand dunes and a spot of rugby before coming face to face with sharks in Cape Town.

Alan revisits some of the places he's been and offers up five additional stories. Volcanic Iceland, Williamson Tunnels and the Gormley statues at Crosby beach, the historic graves of Père Lachaise Cemetery, Route 66 and the San Busmen of N/a'an ku sê.
