The first scene in the opening of the lighthouse is the lighthouse on Tybee Island in Georgia USA.
Although set in Georgia, Once Upon a Prince was filmed entirely in British Columbia, Canada. Some specific locations: Victoria, Colwood, Oak Bay, Metchosin, and Hatley Castle which are all located on Vancouver Island. Filming was also done on the mainland in Vancouver.
Once Upon a Prince was filmed in Vancouver during a 15-day shoot that started in late January, including Victoria, Colwood, Oak Bay, and Metchosin. The castle scenes were filmed at Hatley Castle.
Sadly the iconic Garry Oak tree in this movie fell in a windstorm on December 20th 2018.
The princes castle on the outside has also been used as Lex Luther's mansion in Smallville and also Oliver Queens mansion in Arrow.
