Though Little Women was a favorite book as a child, I don't know how it is that I know little of Louisa Alcott's life. This documentary contained surprise after surprise. I had no idea she had done so much. I found it very moving and inspiring. What a family! A story of a family that loved and supported each other in everything. Fascinating too, it was shown how Louisa translated some of her real life experiences into Little Women. I found much that was inspiring, not the least of which was the care taken to preserve Orchard House, a magical place. There's a lot packed into this brief documentary. Wonderful.
