The German version is censored to avoid being banned in Germany like the first game. Two notable changes include the inability to kill neutral NPCs and decapitations & dismemberment on human enemies are no longer possible. Also its multiplayer is locked to just Germany players only and cannot play with players outside Germany. German version from Austria and Switzerland is completely uncensored.
