Menace II Society (1993)
Great classic
Loved this film! It was a raw and unflinching portrayal of ghetto life!
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990)
Loved it
This series goes down in history as one of the greatest reconnection with the 90s. Iconic will smith sets the scene for an illustrious career
StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void (2015)
Ok
I think the Protoss series wasn't as compelling to play as the others or the original - the character development was too strong that it took away from the storyline
StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm (2013)
Heart stopping
The opening sequence to this game sets the scene for what is to be a powerful and cinematic experience - I still have goosebumps
StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty (2010)
Doesn't beat the original but...
The storyline was not as compelling as the original nor were the cinematic sequences but still a great play and watch.
StarCraft (1998)
This is what films should be like
It's a great game and the story and voice acting added to the feeling you we're watching an epic alien movie!
Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars (2007)
Good
The twist in this series was intriguing but they could have gone further. Can't say much without this being a spoiler but it still was a pleasing time playing this game and reconnecting with the characters such as Kane
Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge (2001)
best c and c
Red alert creates a fun cinematic universe that beats the Tiberium series by far. Not trying to bite off more than it can chew with the right amount of comedy, drama and fantasy
Batman Begins (2005)
Great start
Nolan's trilogy had a great start with this film. I consider it the forgotten Batman. We need more like this! Cillian Murphy is a potent actor and foe
The Butterfly Effect (2004)
Thrilling and well performed by all actors
Such a great thriller headed by Ashton Kutcher. The acting, soundtrack and cinematography were great for the time and I'm surprised a film like this didn't go on to win an Oscar!
Wild Card (2015)
Same old
Honestly I think Statham is one of the world's weakest actors who has risen to fame. His characterization and facial expressions are all the same. This film is no exception. Fairly forgettable film
Bohemian Rhapsody (2018)
Good
Glad it did well at the Oscars- Malek did an amazing performance. my main interest was the story of Freddy Mercury which the film only partially captured in what felt more like a musical
Green Book (2018)
Beautiful
Some cheesy moments and cliched acting but definitely a gorgeous but slow paced story that will again make us reflect on our dark and horrible past
Boyz n the Hood (1991)
One of the best
When it comes to stories about urban gang life in the hood, this one takes the cake! So raw and painful in a good way
Star Trek: Discovery (2017)
Not true to Star Trek
The universe has been change beyond Gene Roddenberry's original vision - such a shame. Should have called the series something else.
American Psycho (2000)
Nice
Between the throwback music and great acting this isn't one to be missed. Leto and bale are the standouts.
Dazed and Confused (1993)
Reconnecting
I loved this series! Such an unpretentious and true portrayal of adolescent life back in the 90s. Some great comedic timing! All in all worth a watch!
Derek (2012)
Great topic poorly executed
Sorry Ricky I love his comedy but this just wasn't funny. Maybe it's because I've seen family members go to nursing homes and didn't feel it was realistic at all.
The Machinist (2004)
Bale deserves an Oscar for this
He's been in so many great films and even nominated but his performance and commitment to the character development were amazing!!
RoboCop (1987)
Omg
Loved this film - possibly one of the grittiest sci fi fantasies of its time. The special FX were surprisingly good for its time
American Dad! (2005)
Great cartoon but same formula
Sorry but it's been done before. It's still a funny watch but no innovation happening here when you compare it to family guy
The Simpsons (1989)
We deserve better
The series has fallen well short of 10 over the latest modern series. The universality of the great original comedy is gone
Star Trek: First Contact (1996)
Great Star Trek film
Arguably the greatest. It was the best of the films that encompassed the TNG series
Titanic (1997)
Great film for its time
Definitely goes down well in history with some cheesy moments however making it fall short of 10 for me. Glad it did well at the Oscars. You will definitely cry even today if you haven't already seen this film
Slumdog Millionaire (2008)
Ok movie
The film was not worthy of best picture but wasn't bad. The soundtrack was the best bit.
