Choose or Die (2022)

Better than I expected
31 August 2022
Perhaps I was in the right mood to watch this. I expected a lot of blood and guts and little story but there was a storyline that played to the end.

I liked the ending and the retro throwbacks. The gory bits were not quite run of the mill and some a bit unexpected.

There's a clear artistry to some of the scenes and overall the film feels like its akin to some random eightys horrors that were made. Or perhaps some music videos I've seen!

Overall if your in the mood for a horror movie you can do a lot lot worse than this one. Just be prepared to open your mind a bit as with most horrors it's not real!!

Another show that spoils ending trying to leave open for series 2

Warning: Spoilers
This was watchable but average and quite predictable.

I think the concept deserved better. The young cast were good but let down a bit by the flow of the programme and the random red herrings. The show tries very hard to be plausible in the modern world but as alot of shows and films do it went too far at the end which took away the fear factor. Also continuity to say you can't get in touch with someone when you have dumped your phone was just one example of several niggles.

Overall the ending should have been better but they have tried to go for a season 2. Please people who make programmes if your show is good enough they will find a way to make a sequel no matter how it ends.
