Cha Cha Real Smooth (2022)
Hilarious, honest, sweet
I loved this. It reminded me of How to be Single the movie that led me to fall in love with Dakota Johnson. I watch any movie she is in bc she just gives such honest, brilliant performances (also she is beautiful...) and this movie did not disappoint. It was me an and older lady in the theater and we were cracking up the whole time. We talked about how good the movie was after. A really nice experience if you love an honest, emotionally driven movie. Not for people who love action packed plots so it was perf for me!!
Behind the Bullet (2019)
Not as political as i expected
Honestly this docu was more about dealing with grief and guilt then it was about guns and gun ownership. There are some stats at the end that might seem to be anti-gun but in reality they are just facts about the undeniable problem we have in the US.
The Northman (2022)
If you like violence, go for it
Woof a lot of screaming and yelling and stabbings and beheadings. Just like beware of that but if you are cool with that, it is a beautiful moral/tale and a good movie overall. Just way too violent for me personally.
Große Freiheit (2021)
Beautiful, emotional queer movie
It's really quite rare that a queer romance movie is really done well. I just enjoy seeing queer love represented so well and I also felt like I learned something from this movie. It is not usually talked about how persecuted gay people have been and in most places still really are. This movie really beautiful!! The acting is heartbreaking and beautiful. I saw it in a theater and I can't wait to hopefully see it again and to own it soon.
The only reason I give it a 9, is because the end was a little open ended and i don't tend to like those endings... lol.
Uncharted (2022)
I had fun!
It felt a little bit like I was on an indiana jones ride at disneyland but like in a cool way, with hot people and dumb humor. Just have fun with this movie and it will be a fun view!
Grand Crew (2021)
wholesome sorta cheesy but i love it
The pilot was a little rough but it gets into it's groove by ep 4. I feel like the writing is getting better as it goes on for sure. I am on ep 7 right now and i love all the characters, Sherm and Nicky having my favorite scenes. :) I am excited for the rest of the season!

An emotional experience
It has been a while since i have experienced this many emotions in a movie. I was completely engulfed by the story. I cried, laughed, recoiled in disgust, and felt angry. This movie is why I love going to theaters. What an amazing film and a story worth telling. A story everyone should see about an experience that is only going to become more common. Thank you for this masterpiece. And thank you to Amin for giving us his story.
