Hasta que la plata nos separe (2022)
Funny, Witty, Romantic
One of my favorite shows of all time (tragicomedy).
I loved the Original one with Marcela Carvajal and Hugo and this one is just as good for the times in my opinion they are doing a fantastic job with the remake.
It is funny, kind of clever, very romantic, and and finally just exciting to watch. It does deliver.
I also love the Chemistry between the main actors. They do a great Job of making you believe that they are in love.
Carmen Villalobos me mata de la risa. Now I'll be watching whatever else she has done because as am actress she is not only beautiful but credible, she delivers well how she feels, what she wants to express.
You going to laugh, cry and fall in love. This is one of those TragicComdies that you can't possibly regret watching. Seriously worth watching.
I would proceed to tell everything that is great about it but "we will never read the actor wrote" so you be the judge.
Once Upon a Time (2011)
For a moment I believed
I see a lot of believers and non believers reviews here. Doesn't matter. Is your story. In a way We are all trapped in a Storybrook, in our mind, all the stories we tell ourselves. My review is simple. Regina's transformation was wonderful and poignant. I captured what I had to capture when I needed the most, and loved what I had to love. And what I didn't, I don't know I guess I forgot already but for a moment I believed, like Henry said, for a moment I believed in magic.
Eco moda (2001)
Viva eco moda moda moda
I've seen it too many times
Fascinating and unique. I've seen it like 8 times and that says a lot since I hardly repeat telenovelas. The chemistry between the protagonists is surreal, out of this world, HOT, incredible. That's what hooked me I suppose.
And most of the acting is excellent; with a few exceptions but most of them managed to make it credible.
Yo soy Betty, la fea (1999)
Yo Soy Betty La Cómica
Funny, witty, and clever.
"Yo Soy Betty la Fea" and "Hasta que la Plata Nos Separe" are the two funniest telenovelas in history. Both Colombian, and both written by the same mind; Fernando Gaitan.
Todos lo saben (2018)
Everybody is like "is the end"?
Spoiler ... good introduction, excellent climax and then ... reality. It was a 9 for me up until the end, where I realized oh no is one of these endings with no closure. I know the poets of realism should get an award but is just doesn't make good tv. Not for me. If I wanted realism I'd watch a documentary or talk to my friends and family. Nonetheless don't regret watching it, excellent actors, excellent photography, funny parts, like when the lights went off and the grandpa got stuck in the electric wheelchair in the middle of the stairway. Very funny. I would like a sequel to this story with the same actors.
Moulin Rouge! (2001)
All Time Favorite Musical
Don't ask why. It just is. My review is too short so I am having to write a little more. Hang on... No spoilers !!!
El final de la noche (2003)
NO NOOO Si Siiiiii
First Comment. I loved the film, I found it original and the acting very natural. Oh and the instrumental soundtrack for the whole film. BEAUTIFUL
Durante la tormenta (2018)
Fantastic until the ending
It was a fantastic film as an it really did kept me intrigued and entertained which is Not easy to do. BUT then came the end and Wtf ? I can't even explain why, I just expected a more resolute ending I suppose. Although I love the idea of a continuation of this film.
The Morning Show (2019)
The Let's Get Real Show
Wow, very moving to the point of watery eyes by the end of season 1. Down to the real, Cut the bs, Hypocrisy is overrated.
Excellent writing. Excellent Acting.
Thank you for this authentic work addressing real issues that yes need to be addressed.
Vis a vis (2015)
It bores me but Great Actors
Great Acting, I'll give them that. First season kept me wanting more but I am now on season 2 episode 8 and I have to say I been bored for most of the episodes. One of those shows that... to each it's own.
La casa de papel (2017)
Everyone is a Critic
Everyone is a critic as Hemingway used to say. And in reading here,,some of the reviewers are way too passionate about their backstage opinion, such hate. is almost as if they envy the show's success, or the happiness of others and they consider themselves so intelligent but I'd like to see them winning an Emmy or even nominated.
Come on people is tv, is entertainment, of course everything could go wrong, and a lot does not make sense, nothing does if you overthink it.
Entertainment, that's what tv is for.
To Escape into alternative realities, either fictional or non fictional.
I believe this was the purpose of this show, to entertain. And I gave it 10 stars because it entertained me fully from beginning to end.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017)
Stand Up to watch the Marvelous
Witty, funny, lively, Educational; inspirational and yes Truly Marvelous to watch.
Is perfect comedy time for everyone.
Friends (1994)
Friends ..the Real Legacy
My sister and I learned English with "Friends" when we first moved from Cuba to USA. I was 11 and she was 8. To us it was more than a show, They were our real friends and they still are. Now my daughter and my nephew watch it with us. Still funny as ever.
Carlos, Rey Emperador (2015)
Freaking Loved
So well written and well executed. And I freaking loved Blanca Suarez role in this series. Her whole love story with Carlos the emperor.
The Last Kingdom (2015)
Kingdom Time
I was pleasantly surprised watching this series. It definitely keeps you interested. I would recommend it for purely entertainment purposes and yes you'll learn some things.
Luz María (1998)
For the Hopeless Romantic
Every hopeless romantic that wants to escape into the 19th century should watch Luz Maria. A little long but I still didn't want it to end. Excellent chemistry between the protagonists. Spanish Speaking.
Sherlock (2010)
Sherlock don't forget us
The Only Thing wrong with this series is that they didn't make enough episodes. So much fun to watch. Still waiting for more. Sherlock don't forget us.
Hasta que la plata nos separe (2006)
Hasta que te mueras de la risa
Hilarious, Hilarious, Hilarious
If you are looking for good old laughs and a fun love story this Novela is definitely worth your time.
I absolutely loved most of the characters, especially Marcela Carvajal (the protagonist). Obra Maestra.
Poldark (2015)
Good Start Poldark
Surprisingly good show. Kept me very interested for the first 2 seasons. Season 3 and 4 feels a little forced but is still good.
Outlander (2014)
Well Written, Exciting up until season 4
If you are a romantic and you love history then this is a story for you. Kept me absolutely hooked..up until season 4. Very exciting the reunion between Jamie and Claire but It started getting boring, specifically as soon as they arrived to America. After too many episodes it started deviating from the central theme, the reason why I fell in love with the story to begin with. Now I have to keep watching season 5 because I am still faithful to the characters. But No regrets.
Game of Thrones (2011)
Save the drama for your mama
Watched and loved All 8 seasons and twice but the end left a bitter taste in my mouth. The Mother of Dragons killed by her own lover. John snow killing her own Lover. Death, Regret and Guilt. Where have I seen that before ? Oh in every single ending I hated watching. 8 years rooting for two characters that would ultimately end up destroying each other. A lot of people do not like happy endings, Not my cup of tea.
