Israelism (2023)
Very good especially for those who need to catch up
Since October 7, we've been on a very fast track of getting up to date on over 75 years of history. It's possible most things in this documentary are less new than when it came out nine months ago. However, I watched it with my mom which was perfect for her. I recommend highly for you or those you know that need some of the basics. Others, have mentioned it being anti-s*metic. I see no evidence of this. It's typically referred to this way by zionist.
If you look at the reviews based on country, its quite revealing.
Those giving the documentary "1" star are primarily US and Israel. Clearly biased reviews.
The Gray Man (2022)
Ugh >-<
Just terrible from the start. I could not finish watching it. Actually i was barely able to start it. I definitely blame directors/producers mostly because they are the ones in charge of presentation and Gosling is just not working. Its overly curated. Ya know, lacking that 'draw you in and forget your watching a movie'. Yehhhhh. Not worth it.
StartUp (2016)
Ronnie ALL THE WAY!
This show would be so terrible without Ronnie. He literally makes it worth watching. This character, played by Edi Gathegi, brings it all together. I wouldn't have made past season one without him. He makes sense, he adds actual depth, he is literally the only one that makes the best choices and provides true advise to his moron co-stars.
Don't get me wrong, he has quite a colorful wrap sheet. HOWEVER, they all do and you realize, as a whole, Ronnie runs circles around them, he sacrifices THE MOST by far. In the context of the whole show thus far, you realize HE is truly better than the rest.
The other characters are train wrecks.
Marauders (2016)
Lost me at...
Lost me at Bruce Willis trying to be philosophical about a spider. About 7 minutes in. Rolling my eyes. Ugh
Alex Rider (2020)
Horrible fluctuations in Volume
I honestly couldn't tell you if the show is good, due to the constant volume adjusting. You may think it's my TV but I've never watched anything on this TV that requires constant volume adjustment. Very frustrating that in 2020, productionists cannot figure out volume ratios for this show.
Warrior Nun (2020)
TERRIBLE ENDING
Ok, i don't know anything about the "comic" BUT. as a first time consumer of "Warrior Nun", the ending was terrible. Don't get me wrong there were soooo many good things AMIDST the whole series, such as good acting and character build up and etc, BUT, it takes Ava 8 episodes to even get in the game (not the actor's fault) and the end of the last episode was worse than a cliffhanger. There was no resolve. Literally ends on a very climactic point. I never review shows/movies. The only reason I'm reviewing this is b/c there was so so so much potential that due to the, powers that be, was not achieved. Way to go to all the actors though! You guys were great. Sorry you had poor judgment over you on how to not only develop but end the season. It could've been so d*** worthy! If there is a second season, I hope your bosses get that s*** right.
