Star Wars: The Bad Batch: The Cavalry Has Arrived (2024)
Very simple great finale
I loved this series finale. I like the fact that it ended as it started, they fighting as a team instead of been overcharged with lots of cameos or some Jedi character. I also liked the fact that there's was a happy end for the main characters and that we also see in the future of Omega joining the revolution. The character development through the series was perfect. Omega being one of the main characters was good for the story since they adopted her and through the series she became one of them. She definitely was not a cliché character. Was never portrait as a victim of an overpowered character.
The View (1997)
Why is this still on tv?
By the years I have seen some incredible shows canceled and others don't even start airing. Examples of that are Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and the Farm which was a projected spin of of the very successful: The Office. A lot of other shows come to mind. Those shows that were canceled had great rating numbers and still were canceled. So that is why my question comes: Why is the View still on TV? It's ratings are extremely low and their content is the probably the worst of any talk show ever. Instead of promoting intelligent discussions and thinking the hostesses screaming all over the place gives women a bad reputation.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023)
Finally Marvel is getting on their feet again
OK. Compared with all movies marvel has done recently, specially the very very disappointing Thor Love and Thunder, this one was an easy 10. The best one since the the incomparable Spiderman No Way Home. We finally see the Quantum world and new entertaining characters. It has a lot of action but not too much to overwhelming you. And the acting was very cool. They cast Casey perfectly since she look and act a lot like her screen father. She was actually a very good surprise, since she acted the part of a teenager but without much complications. All of them acted like a team and the end was good enough to introduce you the real power behind the next Marvel big Villain. And what about those 🐜? That was genius and good to see them in full capacity.
Overall I believe this movie don't deserve the 6 stars rating it is receiving.
The Office: Finale (2013)
Best finale ever
You've got to give props to the writers and casting. This show is the most consistent, intelligent and entertaining one I've ever seen. I'll keep rewatching.
The Office (2005)
Why I waited so long?
My favorite comedy ever. Great cast, consistency and great writing. I don't know how I did see it sooner. Most probably we won't see anything like it again. It was aweeeeeesome!!!
Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
OK Disney, we know...
The movie overall was as expected, funny moments by Chris Hemswort as always and great acting by Christian Bale as always. Natalie Portman acted great also. The rest of the cast did what they were supposed to do, to support. So many great moments were clouded by Disney's insistence of show that they are inclusive. Probably like 10 reference of gay couples were made including the stone dude. Yes, believe it. Disney is causing Star Wars and Marvel real fans to get tired. They are more worried about the "being inclusive war" than doing good writing and directing. Spider-Man showed that they don't need to be woke in order to do a quality job. I hope Kevin Feige and Jon Favreau get tired and move to DC. There's nothing fresh anymore on marvel.
Downton Abbey: A New Era (2022)
Very good for fans
I like the DA series. The movies could be better written though. In both movies is look like some unbelievable situations happens in order to use the servants in a very difficult but remarkable task. Some parts look forced. But the good thing is that both movies are basically separated from the series so the series is not damage by these mistakes. The movie is what it is, a way to keep us, the fans, engaged with the Crawley family, their servants and the beautiful DA. I can say that the movie reach that goal. I would love to see a prequel of the series instead of more movies. Having said that, I 100% recommend this movie.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)
Great acting, special effects and cameos
Was very nice to see the fantastic 4 cameo and the x-men main character. Was cool to see super heroes in the whole power capacity. The directing was very good and I loved that the there wasn't lost time in dialogs. Didn't enjoyed the unnecessary woke part and the zombie strange or strange zombie, I think was also unnecessary. For those two reasons I'm giving this 7 stars.
Grown·ish (2018)
Doesn't work
Contrary to the original series Black-ish this one lacks of intelligent material. I hate some episodes of Black-ish for taking it to far, but Growing-ish is taking it to far since the beginning. Too woke and so much adult material that kill the series from th start.
Moon Knight: The Goldfish Problem (2022)
Great premiere of series
I really like this episode. Simple and doesn't overwhelmed you with innecesary details. Best of all not WOKE at all. Looking forward for the rest of the series.
Black·ish: Feminisn't (2019)
Politics again?
This show is very funny on many levels. My problem is that it take completes episodes sometimes even various episodes in a row to push politics or a specific narrative. What if not everyone cares about politics? I like to laugh not to suffer.
Black·ish: Black Like Us (2019)
I'm here to laugh not to suffer
I like this show a lot. But sometimes it goes very very dark. If I wanted to see division I would be seeing the news. But I'm here to laugh. I hope you guys keep making me laugh.
Black·ish: Please, Baby, Please (2020)
Really?
After four long and stressful breakup episodes, you brought politics.?? You're damaging the series. I'm here to laugh not to be stressed out. C'mon man!!!!!!!!!!
Black·ish: Collateral Damage (2018)
Storyline too long
Cmon guys... I come here to laugh not to stressed out... This storyline was too stressful and overwhelming. One or two episodes would have been enough....
Black·ish: Dream Home (2018)
Storyline too long... very very dangerous
I think, maybe two episodes would be OK to make the point. Was very uncomfortable to see 4 episodes of a comedy you're looking to relax taking this long stressing the viewers. Very dangerous. Could've killed the whole series.
Eternals (2021)
Woke = Broke
I give it 3 starts for the cinematography and that's is. This is one of those rare MCU movies that should be throw into a drawer forever. I mean the director couldn't just throw a woke comment or something. Instead she went fool throttle. The MCU just shoud ignore this movie and keep going as if it never happened. I can say that the only good thing was Angelina Jolie's character and acting and Harrington introduction as the Black Knight. Other than that the movie is trash.
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
Completed satisfaction
This movie has everything you expected and more. Greatest spiderman movie along with Sam Raimi's Siderman 2. It has those big moments and an unexpected one. The interaction between spideys is great. The acting of the Tobey, Tom and specially Andrew and Willem was superb. Somehow the the MCU managed to turn every spiderman movie into one, and in my opinion that was great. All the characters had a wow moment and the movie basically gave us a taste of Doctor Strange 2.
The Fastest (2021)
Good start but then...
Sadly the ridiculous surprise challenges weren't consistent with the drag racing. Additionally the two supercars from nowhere damaged the competition big time. The other drivers fought for a spot, but these two just entered the race doing nothing having an easy spot in the finals.
The Last Dance (2020)
Greatest espn doc Of All Time
The GOAT don't deserve less. This documentary is the perfect example of why MJ is the greatest NBA player that has been and ever will be.
Dunkirk (2017)
Great accomplishment by Nolan
What can be accomplished with a great director and a great cast even with limited dialog? The answer is: Dunkirk. I am convinced that Christopher Nolan is the best director of this era and this movie just showed us why.
What If...?: What If... Ultron Won? (2021)
ULTRON FINALLY IS HERE
Last scene was awesome. I just can't imagine what will come from my favorite character, Dr. Strange, and Watcher teaming up.
House M.D. (2004)
I'm rewatching it; Best Drama Show Ever
It has everything: drama, great dialogue and great acting and lots of sarcasm from Dr. House. If you haven't seen it yet, I'll recommend you do it. I found it again in the free subscription of peacock tv.
Oxygène (2021)
Great Netflix Movie
I'm giving this one a 10 because is very interesting from start to end. Great acting. Very creative.
100 % recommended.
Green Lantern (2011)
Ironically Top tree DC Movie
In my opinion DC lose the opportunity to create something great taking this movie as a start. Ryan Reynolds as always great, Mark's Stron character, always great also. The only problem I found was the transitions between scenes. But as a starter of the franshise I don't se why DC didn't went forward. I can put this together with Aquaman as the best DC so far.
What If...?: What If... Doctor Strange Lost His Heart Instead of His Hands? (2021)
"This is a Nightmare!!!"
What a great episode. Dr. Strange is my favorite MCU character and this episode shows how powerful he can be. Very obscure and sad story that will play with your emotions. Just wow!
