Drag Heals (2018)
Emotional journey through healing
This show is very profound. We are truly taken on a journey, one I appreciate as the gift it is. These individuals are vulnerable and honest and teach each other and the viewers much along the way. Tracey should be proud of the project she's created. Charlie David directs the episodes beautifully. This is a show I hope many see as many people would benefit from the experience chronicled throughout the season. I loved the interactions and friendships formed and the personal journeys through self-discovery and healing. There are solid and engaging personalities that each impact you as the viewer in various but no less impactful ways. I would recommend it.
Avocado Toast the Series (2020)
Bingeable
I can not say enough good things about his series. Season two was even better than season one, and season 1 was pretty phenomenal.
This show is so intelligent and quirky in all the best ways. It is funny yet emotionally gripping. The relationships are genuine, and you feel the connections and emotions fully.
The actors do such a great job. I never once was pulled from the show to think to myself, wow, that could have been written or executed better. That's huge because it happens a lot when I watch tv.
The show is engaging, and I never wanted it to end. I hope there is more to come, even though I'm satisfied with the bittersweet end of the season.
It further shows the reality that the show brings to the viewer. It doesn't feel like it has to dumb down or tell us how to feel.
