Something diffrent, Something Same

The show starts off completely left field by introducing percival and essentially ignoring the sins, which was a brave call and something I liked. The animation is much more familiar to the first few seasons of the original but lacked some of the exciting fight scenes which were a plenty in the og. I really liked the first few episodes as they focused on completely new characters with diffrent storylines and it gradually becomes more similoar to 7ds when story is the driving factor of the episode. Maybe that is why people don't rate this as highly as the original but I think it's good. I think this first season was like a warm up to the new characters and world 16 years later. The first season overall I enjoyed as it caught glimpses of the og 7ds with less action. I can't wait for the upcoming seasons which I think will have a lot more action.
