Invasion (2021)
Interesting, but .....
The first few episodes of Season 1 drew me in but after that, I lost interest. Gave it another shot and made it through the entire season. OK, it got a little better, some episodes were so dark, and I mean vision wise, not story wise. Thought the first glimpse of the aliens would be good but, they looked like a hairball spider they threw together randomly, with no thought. I think they would have been better if they would have, maybe dedicated each episode to a different character story, rather than try to show a glimpse of each storyline in every episode. First two episodes could have shown each character's situation and then concentrate on one storyline per episode. Am powering through the second season and so far, again, some episodes are very dark, upping the brightness on the tv doesn't help.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017)
Seasons 1-4, excellent. Season 5, meh.
Loved this show from the beginning of season 1 to the end of 4. Season 5 was disappointing. Between the flash forwards and (it seemed to me) the disjointed story lines, it just didn't do it for me, sorry. I wanted to see Midge's rise up, her USO shows, her growing fame. I wanted more depth to Suzie growing her business, to the mom's matchmaking business, I wanted more. A whole season more. Midge dealing with Lenny Bruce's death, with her falling out with Suzie and their reconciliation. Her kids during the 70's, her dad, her mom, everything. It seemed as if the last season was a quick wrapup. Meh.
Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story (2023)
Loved it!
I really loved this. I know it's fiction based on fact but I hope the love between George and Charlotte was real. The scene in the garden where she tells him she is Venus broke my heart. And the last episode, under the bed, cried like a baby! I thought she was cruel at first, always asking if he was dead, but after that last scene I realize its not because she wants him dead but that she is dreading it! Perfect casting of India Amarteifio as the young queen. And Brimsley! Him dancing in the gsrden broke my heart! Need to know what happens with him and Reynolds. Hopefully there will be season 2!
Avatar: The Way of Water (2022)
Visually breathtaking!
Wasn't a fan of the first one, so it took some persuading to see the new one. I was pleasantly surprised. This time around, the story seemed more understandable to me than the first. Breathtakingly beautiful scenes. Interesting creatures. I like the fact that it was exploring more of the world of the Na'vi and hope that future films take us further into Pandora. I want to take a vacation in Pandora! I wish the characters were more different to be easier to tell them apart, but overall a really enjoyable film. Did not feel like a 3 hour movie, it moved so well. Didn't see it in 3D, but am considering doing so.

Questions
The first one was great. This one had its moments but overall, not so many that it surpassed the first. Why didn't anyone in the world just wish that Max would stop or wish for the world to be calm and peaceful?g.

This little movie is predicting the future. If You want to see what the future holds, watch it! Funny but somewhat true.
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017)
Loved it!
Loved it! Love all things King Arthur and Camelot and this was great. A Guy Ritchie all the way! Loved his take on the whole Arthurian legend. Thought the effects were great. Don't care what anyone says. I go to the movies to be entertained and this movie entertained me. All his movies do.

Particles of Truth (2003)
Loved it!!!
I was lucky enough to catch the film at the 2003 Tribeca Film Festival and thought it was great! The characters really had me ..like I've been there with them. I was so caught up, I need to know more about what happens to them.
