Babylon (2022)

A story about young Hollywood. The film follows an acclaimed actor (Pitt) who in the beginning of the movie is at the top of his career and at the same time it introduces a young girl who wants to become a movie star (Robbie). Along with the young girl we meet a nobody working as a waiter who will do everything to get to work in the movie business. Tje story goes everywhere and nowhere and with one overly crazy scene after the other. It is just way too much and overdone. The actors do a great job and the soundtrack to the movie is a fine addiybut the movie is at least 1 hour longer than it should have been and the crazy stuff market it unbelievable and dull in the long run.

So unoriginal that it hurts
Wow another Christmas Calendar from Denmark where a boy lives on an old farm that is for sale. And the he learns that magic happens in the area. Just as we've seen so many times before. Very unoriginal.
The kids tries to explore the area and the parents tries to prevent them from doing so. And the obvious lies the kids tell is not picked up by the grown-ups. They are plain stupid all of them. And the kids at the farm have never questioned why they are not allowed to explore the area before.
The acting is fine even though it is not bog famous actors. Both kid actors and grown-up actors do a fine job but the story line is incredibly poor and predictable. Worst calendar to come from TV2 I decades.
Connected (2009)
Glad it is not longer
What an utter waste of time. 2 people are connected via what appears to be breathing tubes. They walk around in a post-apocalyptic wasteland away from a city in ruins. A third person with a breathing device that is a stand alone unit with a countdown follows them. Then one of the two who a connected gets weak and the one connected to him tries to take the stand alone unit from the third person.
They fight. The unit changes hands but the countdown reaches 0 and all 3 persons die. The end.
That is essentially the whole movie. Nothing is described or explained. Why would anyone connect their breathing in the first place. That will always kill you. Why does the third person follow the 2 others if he is better off alone. Why do they not simple disconnect the weaker one and the two others could connect and keep going (as it seems this illogical connection keeps them alive). Waste of time. Good that it ls less than 10 minutes long.

Terrible writing and bad acting
The cast is a mix of B-list actors and newcomers and all perform really bad. What's worse is the script and story is so terribly written it is hard to watch. The detectives are just plain stupid and overlook the most obvious clues and the backstory of the personalities are just idiotic.
