Death Racers (2008)
Love Asylum films but this is crap
A Haunting In Winchester County was a good Asylum movie. Death Racers however is complete crap. I love Insane Clown Possee but their efforts are wasted here. TERRIBLE direction. AWFUL script. NO CARS!!!! Why do I keep buying these bloody dvds? Great idea for a movie. NO CRASHES & NO CORPSES Just sit and think about how good this film COULD be rather than buying it! Not even worth the pound I paid for it... STOP READING NOW. Why does Internet Movie Database INSIST on Ten Lines per review? It is daft. To be honest i am just filling up the lines with GIBBERISH now. Fun seven fish cushion. He went back to the house and harrowing tool plus will idealisation identified the little objects.
Legend of the Mummy (1998)
Stagey but well made adaptation of Stoker's story
This movie reminded me of a lower budget version of the Nicole Kidman film 'The Others'. The performances are good,(sometimes very good) and the spirit of Bram Stoker's tale is well created. The sound mix is excellent and though this is a very different movie from the wonderful Brendan Fraser / The Rock Egyptian tales, set your expectations accordingly and I feel you will not be disappointed. There is a difference between the pace of a stageplay and a twenty-first century movie, and whilst 'Bram Stoker's Legend of The Mummy' could not be described as 'brisk' or 'energetic', it is a well told story worthy of the £1 I got it for at Poundland!
Shattered Glass (2003)
Dull, Dull, Dull.
Flat journalist drama. No idea how this gets such a high average on IMD. ? ? ? Bee stung lipped Ryan Yankchild makes mistakes and all his friends JUST WANT HIM TO TELL THE TRUTH... The whole thing plays out FLATTER THAN TITS ON AN IRONING BOARD. Avoid Like The plague... Complete crap. It really doesn't have enough to play out for more than about 15 minutes. Crapety Crap. Crap. "Believe me Michael I'm such an idiot" "Steve, did you ever cook a piece while you worked for me. Blah... blah...blah..." Dull. Interesting subject squeezed dry of all juice. Rubbish music, flat and dry acting, Bought this for £1.27 on ebay and I was ripped off.
