Goosebumps (2023)

It's fine for what it is

I don't know if I'm a true 90's kid since I was born September of 96 but I was a kid in the 2000's who loved reading and loved horror so I read the goosebumps books in elementary and watched reruns of the show on Nickelodeon so the whole nostalgia wasn't lost on me. This show was more like a drama than a one shot episode series so I was kind of sad about that but it was fun for what it was. The soundtrack was phenomenal though, a lot of great songs on this show that fit the theme of each episode. I also enjoyed how each character got a corresponding nod to the book series like the first episode being say cheese and die and the second one being the haunted mask. 7/10 would watch again during Halloween season.
