Girls (2012)
Are people in NYC really that shallow?
I'm not from the United States so I don't know if you have to be a newyorker to watch the show or if the show is just bad. I've seen other shows from USA that I like, so my guess is that this is not a good one. I don't understand the reviews saying "this is a realistic show". People in NYC can walk almost naked in public all time of the year? I thought it was more of a cold city. At first I liked because I saw the show as a dark comedy. But now I'm at season 3 (I have fast forwarded most of the episodes) and I don't think I will keep watching it is too painful to watch. And there is so many clichés about women. I've never met a woman who goes to the bathroom with another woman. No one needs company to pee, that never happens. Friends never take baths together, that's just weird if youre older than 10. These women are so desperate and self-centered I can't relate. Even those moments when you're lost in life you don't react like a spoiled brat all the time. Unless you are one, but this show have not just one but four spoiled brat that can't listen to each other, so these are the worst friends ever. I don't know if this is on purpose but there is not a single character on the show that is likeable. Or funny. That's why I will stop watching this not comedy, not drama, just weird cringe situations that never happens in real life (except maybe in NYC). That's the problem with the show: it tries to be realistic showing this impossible situations all the time. Boring and annoying.
Parenthood (2010)
Very long to watch
You can FastForward 50% of the show and you won't miss anything. The dialogs are predictible, the silences are too long, so is the crying and yelling.
The way that they deal with the asperger's kid is horrible.
The show should be call the parent trap, all the problems you can have when you grow up in a family that forces you to follow the same path. Everyone has to get married (heterosexual, of course) and have children to be complete.
I don't understand why no one goes to therapy, they should send a better message, some characters have depression and anxiety but they never see a professional. The message is "family is always the solution to every problem" and it's not. That's why every member of this family makes bad choices trying to copy the nuclear family model.
Euphoria (2019)
Unrealistic
The acting is good, the stories are good, but the actors are closer to 30 than 17.
They should play college students at least. That would be more interesting and original.
Not all drama in life happens in high school, why there are a million shows like this in the same period of life?
And why do I have to fill six hundred characters when all I have to write fits in 300? This rule is so annoying it forces me to keep writing something that makes no sense like this. Still 127 characters to fill? What else should I say, the show is not that deep and there is not much to say. Lalalallalalalalaallala.
Ami-ami (2018)
So bad
Avoid the waste of time. There is nothing new here. It is amazing that people were paid to do this... Typical romantic comedy with all the usual clichés, previsible, shallow. The dialogs seems to be a copy paste of every pathetic american film of the same style, except these are in french. The characters are all annoying with nothing interesting to tell. Did I mention this was bad ? Because I still have 194 characters and the only thing I have to say is : This is really bad. So you were warned, this is a shamr to the cinema. Even for a romantic comedy this is boring. I prefer the weird french dramas than this. French cinema is not meant to be funny, they just dont know how.
Avatar: The Way of Water (2022)
Innecesary long
This film is overrated. The 3D and the visuals are amazing but there is no script. There are a lot of plot holes and everything is left open for a 3 part. Maybe the 3rd one will have some closure. I feel like this is an empty movie just to tell us: "we improved our technology wait for the rest of it". I have some characters left but I don't know what else to say maybe the writers did the same with the film they had to fill three hours and they just left the predictive did the work. I am going to leave the machine write the missing characters: the movie was a bit longer than I expected but I was able to find a good time. Done.
Desperate Housewives (2004)
So bad
The show is about 4 entitled Karens. Most of them can't act. And why Gaby (Eva Longoria) walks like that? It's not natural at all. They have to kill someone on every season, otherwise there is no story, just shallow people having privileged people problems.
Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
Incredibly bad
Gal Galdot singing Imagine is better than this movie...
They totally ruined WW. Only the first 15 minutes were good to watch.
A Million Little Things (2018)
So boring
This show is like Friends on depression. Some of the actors plays really bad their roles. And the characters are always taking selfish choices and then crying about it, but when their friends have some problem they give wise advices, I mean if you are so wise why your life is such a disaster?
I give four stars because every time I have insomnia I put this show and sleep instantly. So thanks for the bad show that cured my insomnia...
Rebelde Way (2002)
10/10 critics were paid
It is imposible that real people could give ten stars to this pathetic crappy show. I can't believe that netflix is re running a new version of this sexist mediocre TV show. It is the shame of argentinian television.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017)
A little overrated...
This show is from the same creators of Gilmore Girls (I watched the show when I was a teen; a guilty pleasure for which I am ashamed now that I re watched one episode to remember) and it has exactly the same plot, except that is a jewish family in the 50'.
There are so many repeated relationship patterns and even some dialogues looks the same.
Even the actress looks a little bit like Rory Gilmore from the other show.
The same spoiled brat self-centered princess, always playing with people feelings but never assuming it and hidding herself behind a "I'm so naive and cute you can't hate me" costume.......
It is so insulting to women that actually want to be taken serious.
The show has some good moments but I don't understand the 10/10 reviews.
The Dead Don't Die (2019)
Simple and Clear
People got so used to the expensive sci-fi movies that they have lost all their sense of humor and the value of good actors/actresses. This movie is well played by all the actors and actresses in it. Tilda Swinton is the best!
No need to make expensive action scenes, no blue screen, just people acting and making the story come to the screen.
The Favourite (2018)
Horrible
I'm glad I didn't watch this at the cinema, this is not a masterpiece, is painful to watch, grotesque, boring, incredibly boring, annoying, disgusting. It's a waste of talent from three good actresses. The first 20 minutes of the film were promising but then everything goes to hell.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix (2019)
Avoid to watch this movie.
If you haven't seen the other movies maybe it could be a good film. But if you are a X-men fan avoid the pain. It doesn't follow the timeline at all. I don't know what was the director thinking but I'm sure he hated X-men.
Now I want to go see MIB and ask them to flash me so I can forget I saw this movie.
