Saltburn (2023)
What on earth was that?
The trailer is so much better than the movie itself! Besides, if this supposed to be some kind of psychological horror, where is motive then?! Did it become a habit to add some gore freaky scenes thinking this would make it spooky? So killed everyone for the house, the attention, the money, the lack of emotions, etc.. what about his love? And not just any love.. He worshipped that guy. I mean I understand people kill for love but not like this and with stupidity.. a total waste of time.. great actors in a very very weak and boring plot. People now like what is schoking and gore, but again woth no context it's a waste ...
Death on the Nile (2022)
Too long for nothing.
The whole first hour of the movie was completely useless. It doesn't serve the plot, the drama or the character development. It should have been a one hour movie. And the French accent was exaggerated!
Turning Red (2022)
So Overrated!
Horrible weird graphic work and drawings, totally unfitting voice for the main lead (Mei), boring less than good plot and a total failure after Encanto.
Don't Look Up (2021)
I knew it!
When I saw all of these famous faces on one poster, I knew there is a fat production company with a horrible weak plot behind it! Whatever the message this movie is trying to convey, it was lost in translation due to the cheap writing, weird acting and shooting! Even the jokes, Gosh, they were like torture! And no one dares to tell me: it's deep dark political comedy blah blah... This is empty. Again, the message could've been great and deep with all these famous actors, but "cheap" was the logo...
My Son (2021)
Totally Misleading and Poor!
I don't know what is going on with writers and directors nowadays. Do they write a plot and then forget about it while shooting? So the father works in the petrol field in some "dangerous" countries in the Middle East, even if he isn't in the military, but still dangerous for people like him, well according to the movies of course! After buying that nonsense, the movie raises the question: why your son? And they relate the answer to the dad's dangerous job wooow spooky!
Now my question is, why his son?! I have watched the whole movie unfortunately and I still don't know why his son? Or why anyone's son to be honest. So a big powerful guy from London calls the police to drop the case of the boy, movie ends without knowing who was that guy? Who are the kidnappers? Why? Or how is this even related to the dad?
Totally a horrible movie!
Prey (2021)
Pathetic Netflix.
I seriously don't know what to say or where to start from. I already wasted my time watching this nonsense, so I am not gonna waste more time discussing what happened in this gross work. Just for those who plan to watch this poop masterpiece, be prepared for the following:
1- Two horrible stories (still don't know why confuse people with two, not just one stupid event.
2- No motives at all. I mean it. Nothing makes sense.
3- You might laugh at the ending or lose temper and throw the screen with something!
4- You might wait for at least one reason or explanation for that comedy show named "thriller" but you won't find any.
5- And you need to know what Netflix is pathetic.
Bu-reo-jin hwa-sal (2011)
WTF?!
For general audience in general and lawyers in specific, this is a comedy show for you! Not a single accurate legal terminology, event, accusation, or evidence in this movie. The judge doesn't know what he is saying, like a baby in the woods. The defendant can't even defend himself in front if his mother. The accused lives in a sick fantasy, even with justice in this world, still so dramatic and over exaggerated! Besides, actors are all unfitting. Long story short, give it a straight (1) or as my dearest wise friend said, "what shall you do when they don't have a (0)?"
Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway (2021)
Stop Making Sequels!
From my point of view, making sequels is more difficult than making an original especially if the original was a success. Watch this and you will know what I am talking about.
Luca (2021)
Weird Observation.
The plot is fine, maybe less than fine. You are different, you are an underdog, you can be accepted though blah blah blah. It's not even unique. The annoying thing for me is the shapes and colours! You just watch this for the first time and you feel you are very familiar with the characters and graphics and I don't mean this in a good way. It's boredom to be honest. The colour blue? In almost 3 or 4 movies in a row? Onwards, Raya and the Last Dragon etc... I love the colour but it becomes redundant after a while.
Cruella (2021)
Seriously?!
What on earth was that?! Come on Disney! Catch up to the rest of the world! You are taking a horrible path where there is no return.
What kind of poor sick modern plot is this?! I don't even know where to start! A 2hour-13 min- disney movie?! Is this supposed to be the new God Father?!
So here we go... Anita turns black, well maybe she got a good tan during all these years so that's understandable! And don't you dare calling me a racist since you are playing that card by involving unfitting actors of color in your movies which changes the whole classic and adds nothing!
What else, oh yeah... Cruella grows up with Jasper and Horace.. why not? Cruella seeks revenge for her mother who turns to be not her mother, again, why not? But her motive for kidnaping and killing the Dalmatians is because they jumped at her mother and threw her of the cliff in a pathetic scene and swallowed the necklace so she awaits the dog's poop?! That is too much to take! Besides, where did all that heist modern poor story come from?! And that Emma Stone, totally unfitting by the way!
If anyone dares to give this poor movie a high rate is because of the nostalgia to the original character in the classic. How about you think it over and ask yourselves,( is this even related to the classic? Is this even a good version of the story?). The answer is no! So change your ratings!
You are going down, Disney!
Room (2015)
Why is this even a movie?!
It started well until it became so boring and lame! No motive whatsoever, no background, no thrill, no plot... nothing at all! Even the drama isn't that touching, less than a cliche!
This is a waste of time and money. Overrated for nothing.
What Dreams May Come (1998)
Having a Split! Feeling Exposing ...
Since it's all about movies here; let's rate the movie. It is too boring, too slow with an overdose of sadness. Also, a lot of people will be confused since it's difficult to refer to the textual clues if you have never been through this pain, afraid to go through this pain or a good reader in philosophy and psychology. So, this is not made as a Hollywood drama movie for a general audience.
However, we cannot deny the brilliant concepts and ideologies which were spotted in this movie. First, it discusses the psychological state-of-mind of the human being. It discusses the pre-trauma and post-trauma of a man's wellbeing state-of mind. Second, it targets a specific type of audience as well that would have another interpretation than words, it is the illustration of colors! You see, colors can in a brush of hope or a tool for death. Thinking of (poison of colors) alone can bring you chills.
Third, (Death through Love):
Love can take you to different worlds. It works like magic. Sometimes you are in hell, sometimes you are in heaven. These are the two places of love. So this is the introduction of Death and Love together. Also, seeing love in death's mirror and otherwise is the ultimate love. You lose someone in your life, you grief and at some point you decide to quit life, but love remind you of strange things. The things that the diseased beloved wanted you to do before he or she left. Love then is the engine that takes you to strength! I am doing this now for my love, despite the face I am grieving over him/her!
Now, what is more interesting to me and what people usually don't think of just simply because they are ALIVE, is (When I die, do I grief over my LIVING beloved ones?) Yes you do! You never know because you are alive now. You think that when you die, life is over and all gone and you live in the memories of others only. We also say, the living suffers more and sometimes we say death is more painful to the living from the dead.. the dead is a corpse.. the living is a soul.
I also believe in that. However, when you love someone so much. Do you really think that death will put you apart from caring and loving him/her? I doubt so. I am no God and I don't know what is going to happen in the afterlife, but what I will try my best building that so called heaven based on the memories I had lived with my love. All sweet memories with that person will create my damn heaven and will let me pass through hell's doors just to save him/her from danger. Shall I grief as a dead body over my living beloved one? Yes for sure. That I will do in life and its after. With every tear shed from a living soul over my dead body, I'll be crying a river in grave.
Haeundae (2009)
Why?!
This could've been a good natural disaster movie. Why the useless irrelevant character development, slow drama and long duration?! A joke not a movie...
Watching (2019)
A Big Disappointment!
Korean thrillers are usually very good and full of twists. This one has a very poor plot, and a stupid message and climax.
The War with Grandpa (2020)
The Kids Though....
A fine plot I guess. It's just the three male kids, including the lead Peter, that I couldn't stand. Totally horribly disgusting actora!
Freaky (2020)
What Now?!
A comedy horror, ha? Neither comedy nor horror and definitely a horrible movie! Such a waste of time. Very poor redundant plot, dull performances and a cliché.
Alone (2020)
And?
The movie is over and I am still trying to make sense of any of it! Total garbage with a horrible plot!
Good Samaritan (2020)
Why the very low rating?!
I know this is not a great movie. In fact, it's not even a very good movie. However, isn't it better than that garbage called (quite place) or that worthless (girl on a train)?! And yet, the ones I mentioned, and more, got high ratings just because of the big production company and the famous stars! This one can be considered as a TV film with a low budget. It has some kind of a spiritual humane message, yeah fine. 3.9 as a total rating though? Blind and unfair! By comparison, this is something.
Dol-yeon-byeon-i (2015)
Funny? Touching? Both?
Well, I totally believe that if you want to spread a message like the one this movie carries, acceptance, it's unnecessary to have an overdose of deep drama. Sometimes, a funny simple plot will do. However, this movie and plot never made me laugh neither feel touched! So bazaar..
Clean Up (2018)
An unpleasant shock!
The plot is fine, why didn't you go with it? So poor, too slow and very rigid. Good details would've made it a good movie. Such a waste...
Our Idiot Brother (2011)
Deep Comedy...
Funny? Yes
You are laughing at pain though...
That was dark comedy for me and in a weird way...
Unthinkable (2010)
You can't be bias...
You can't take sides in this movie. A weirdly brilliant plot with very nice performances. Grabs your attention and leave you with an open jaw.
Geugeotmani nae sesang (2018)
Mixed feelings...
All you want in one strong movie. You can feel happy, sad and angry in 2 hours.
Bae-sim-won (2019)
Good Drama
Based on a true story with true performance from the heart.
Geukhanjikeob (2019)
Wicked Comedy
If you like movies where you are forced to laugh when you are supposed to be serious, watch this one. Thumbs up...
