Kin (2021)
Strong
This surprised me! I found series 1 to be slow, but 😉 enough. Series 2 though is next level. Excellent characters, good twists and gritty enough to keep me entertained. There aren't any characters I'd like to see gone. All add something. I really hope there is a series 3. The women in particular are fantastic and really hold their own. Could be a series just about them. Doesn't score a 10 due to a few moments I had to suspend belief, particularly the amount of waving a gun around with no consequences!! The writing in series 1 was also a bit hit and miss but this has greatly improved. Seems to have a good budget too.
Love Life: The Person (2020)
Loved this series but...
I have loved Darby's character development, her friendships, relationships and family. Seeing her become a mum felt fresh and realistic. Just disappointed to see the cry it out method being used to tackle the baby's poor sleep. So overall good but was a bit gutted to see that as it felt unnecessary.
It's a Sin (2021)
Outstanding
I laughed, cried and was educated on a part of history I knew little about. Some bits are hard to watch, gut wrenching and heart breaking. But its also funny, clever and real. Just watch it, you won't regret it.
Unbelievable (2019)
Crime drama perfection.
I'll be honest, I struggle to hold my attention on shows for more than a couple of hours. I get restless. Not with this. The acting, the dialogue, the story, the characters. All compelling. It is sad, moving, shocking & most of all, gripping.
Homeland: Prisoners of War (2020)
Better than I could have ever imagined
I tried to guess how this would end. I knew how I wanted it to go and at times I was disappointed whilst also on the edge of my seat. But the writers knew what they were doing and blew my mind. Amazing end to a near perfect final season.
Homeland: Two Minutes (2020)
Strong episode
Enjoyed this. Developed the story, brought the overall story together more and had enough twists. Good writing. I particularly enjoy the portrayal of POTUS.
White House Farm (2020)
Stick with it!
Its slow but worth it. Great actors and well produced.
Game of Thrones: The Bells (2019)
Thoroughly enjoyed
I get what everyone is saying but I loved it. The acting is incredible and the twists and turns kept me guessing.
