Brett Goldstein playing a different character than in Ted Lasso. Some of the low ratings seem to be from people expecting a superhero film. This is a lot like the series My Hero which had Ardal O'Hanlon trying to live a normal life in London.
The funniest bits, for me, were the civil service requirements to get people to fill out forms after having been rescued and the chap whose scored his rescuer as a "solid six" out of ten like an Amazon review. And the training montage was hilarious
Goldstein is great as a rather chatacterless chap whose only interestingly aspect is his superhero identity. He wants everyone to like him for being that hero. But after a few encounters he's so annoying that he has no idea friends.
Over all a decent show.
