Outlaw Queen (1957)
Fun!
This is a fun movie with a great female lead character! That's about all I have to say so I will say read the other person's review here, they have got some great trivia to tell about the movie and actor in it :-)
Acid Head: The Buzzard Nuts County Slaughter (2011)
Tex Watt: A Legend In His Own Mind But Only In His Own Mind
Tex Watt is a legend in his own mind who sees himself as a Lloyd Kaufman type grind house movie maker..... he is nothing of the sort. The few of us who have ever heard his name (and we are on the low-low-low-low-low end of Toronto/Hamilton "micro budget" ultra independent film making) only know the name Tony "Tex" Watt as a punchline. A guy who constantly posts and emails about all the hugely amazing things he is doing and shamelessly (and incorrectly) describing himself as a "legendary" or "popular" or "well known" horror film maker or mover and shaker in the world of comics and manga.
Let's get something straight, nobody knows this guy outside a handful of us and the tragic Vivita, he has no power or clout in "the industry" at all and even less talent.
He shoots all his stuff on a crappy camera in front of a green screen he does so badly even public school A/V groups would be ashamed of it and refuses to edit any of his crap out as though all he cares about is having as long a run time as possible. He flat out lies about the "budgets" of his movies to make him seem legit which he isn't. He fills out tons of bios and trivia and facts to try to pump himself up which only makes him more of a punchline.
Do not pay to download any of these movies unless you want to basically lobotomize yourself in boredom and rage that something so shoddily produced is allowed to be marketed by this clown as something comparable to "a film". The quality is so poor you can barely see it, can't hear anything, and end up glad about that because the acting and his writing and direction are so bad you know you're better off NOT knowing what the hell is supposed to be going on.
Worst of all he deliberately tries to piggyback off others. He constantly name drops people like Lloyd Kaufman who literally prides himself on being in any movie any time anywhere as long as you pay his travel and meals but who will not return this guy's calls.
Shamelessly he called his only movie that got any numbers of downloads "Frankenpimp" in a very obvious ripoff of "Frankenhooker" and went out of his way NOT to distance himself from that movie, obviously wanting people to assume it was a sequel or somehow officially related to that film.... I really hope the Frankenhooker people find out and sue his ass, though he is obviously pretty much destitute so I bet all they'd get is his "super famous Tex Watt black cowboy hat".
He even shoots home video on his camera phone, posts it on YouTube and then lists it on IMDb, like the "TV series" of his cat which is just a minute long video of his cat while he makes stupid noises and which he claims cost tens of thousands of bucks to make in just one of the many many countless lies he tells himself and everyone else who will listen.
Spend your money elsewhere, at least download something by someone who will at least try to make something watchable and don't support an egomaniac who is completely detached from reality.
Juno and the Paycock (1929)
Well Done
This is a well done drama with lots of comedy in it as well. It is old and "old looking" but if you don't mind earlier films this is a decent Hitchcock effort. I can't believe how low it is rated here.
Under Capricorn (1949)
Australian Romance & Mystery
This is an underrated Alfred Hitchcock movie. True he churned out tons of movies and not all of them were good, for every classic like North By Northwest there were maybe a dozen of his early films that were just OK. But this is one of the good ones. It's not the type of thriller movie he is famous for from later in his career like Psycho, this is about a guy who travels to Australia in 1831 hoping for a better life. He meets his old sweetheart who is now married and an alcoholic and learns she has some dark secrets. Don't want to spoil anything but it's a great story with very good acting.
I Hate Hollywood (2012)
Lame Show
Like almost everything Ed the Sock has been doing this show was just junk, very cheap looking and just going through the motions on TV.
The Sean Ward Show (2010)
Very Boring
This is a very boring and pointless web series, pretty well produced for a web series but still just a guy and his friends with a camera goofing around basically.
How to Plan an Orgy in a Small Town (2015)
How to Get Bored in a Small Town
It's easy just put on this movie and tell people to watch it because this movie was boring as hell!
Girls Will Be Girls (2005)
Watching Paint Dry
Actually this is not as bad as watching paint dry it is worse because at least watching paint dry has a purpose and when it's done you are left with something at least positive, a fresh coat of paint on something.
Truthhorse (2004)
Lover Of Truthhorse
I'm a lover of Truthhorse their sketches were a lot of fun, just funny wackiness every week.
The Gavin Crawford Show (2000)
Gavin Crawford is Great
This show was worth watching for Gavin Crawford's performances, we was touching and funny at the same time and never boring. Unfortunately the writing in the show was nowhere near as good as his performance talent but he made the most of each episode and the supporting cast was good too. Nice to see him still acting in things and doing some of the same or at least similar characters.
Out of Bounds with John Oakley (2003)
John Oakley's Talk Show
This wasn't a bad panel show for guys. It wasn't all sports or anything and they would have female guests as well, in fact some of the female guests were their best recurring guests. Oakley I think would have been better to stick to the radio as he has a good voice and is not the best TV host I have seen. If you were gonna waste some time with the TV on in the afternoon this wasn't the worst way to do it.
Medium Raw: Night of the Wolf (2010)
It's Bad
This was a bad movie. Lots of decent actors in small cameo roles but all of them are completely wasted. The leads and most supporting actors are not good on a performance level but that could be the result of just having such a bad script to work with. Not much to recommend here other than seeing some good actors in very small, wasted roles.
Keys to the VIP (2006)
Awful
No idea where all the high votes and reviews are from but this show was pretty bad. I'll give it a 3 because I've seen lots of worse shows but this didn't have much reason to exist imho.
Kenny Hotz's Triumph of the Will (2011)
Average At Best
This reality show isn't really "reality" it is obviously scripted. Very low brow stuff with crude jokes. Predictable and the host is not very likable.
Ed's Nite In (2005)
Sucks
Ed the Sock needs to make less shows, he had one or two really good ones but the rest are just plain awful and look like they cost five cents to make.
Dark Rising: Warrior of Worlds (2014)
Pretty Mindless
There's not much going on here but obviously you should not expect much from a low budget show called Dark Rising Warrior Of Worlds. Some of the acting is quite amateur and the writing is just as bad but the effects are pretty good and the star really gives it her all and keeps things fun. Much of the supporting characters go past the line and are just hammy but I've seen much worse.
Dead Like Me: Life After Death (2009)
Suiting End
It wasn't the best but it at least gives us closure to the TV series that had none until this came out. Ellen Muth is great.
Dead Like Me (2003)
Interesting
This was a very interesting show. I liked Ellen Muth and Mandy Patinkin a lot. The show was a little thin once the premise kind of wears off a few episodes in but it was a lot of fun while it lasted.
Suicide Squad (2016)
Bad
This movie was really bad. The worst joker (Leto), the worst Batman (Affleck), one of the worst superhero movie scripts in a long time, awful direction, most of the jokes fall flat, cheesy action and a lame story... a few good things about the movie but not nearly enough to save it from itself. Hopefully there will never be a follow-up, just a complete reboot.
Comedy Now! (1997)
Great When Comic Is Great
The show is hit or miss but there were enough really funny comics that the show is worth watching. If you don't like the comic in the first few minutes just turn it off, I find they're either great or not great and you can tell right away.
Butch Patterson: Private Dick (1999)
Super Duper
This show was a lot of fun I thought Butch Patterson was very funny and deserved more seasons.
Chez Carla (2000)
Carla Collins is a Genius!
Carla Collins is a Canadian legend of all media-- from TV, film, radio to web. This is maybe her best show to date.
Big Top Talent (1980)
Fun Show - Hit Or Miss Talent
This was a really fun show and is a real classic here. The talents kids would show off were always hit or miss and a lot of the show was just time wasting but the host was really fun and nice and the interviews with the kids were always cute. The new version of this show is not so good unfortunately and the new host is quite inferior as well, which brings the rating down some.
Billable Hours (2006)
Good Premise Wasted
This show was terrible. I can't believe the high votes and rave reviews here. The only people I know who watched it also hated it like me... anyway the show is long gone but I didn't like it.
Big Brother Canada (2013)
The Gold Standard Of Crap For Idiots
If there were awards given out for the most brain dead idiotic worthless television garbage on earth this show would take the top prize for sure. Nothing entertaining or remotely worthwhile on this show at all, just awful people talking and doing the stupidest time wasting things while drooling morons watch. Shame on whoever makes and watches this slime.
