This film was made in Bollywood in 2001, retitled and released as "My Faraway Bride." The story and script are by Richard Martini, as well as the second unit footage. Based on a story where the filmmaker met a woman from India while attending USC film school, wondered if he'd ever see her again, and as fate would have it, they ran into each other on his first trip to India.
