Dezfuli and Shushtari (local names: دزفولی [dezfuli] or دسفیلی [desfili] and شوشتری [ʃuʃtæri]) constitute a Southwestern Iranian language, more specifically a Persian dialect[2] spoken in Dezful and Shushtar, two adjacent cities of the province of Khozestan in Iran. The main difference between Dezful and Shushtar is in vowel pronunciation.
