National Highway 228 (NH 228) connects Sabarmati Ashram at Ahmedabad to Dandi. The highway covers a distance of 374 km in the state of Gujarat.[1]
According to New National Highway numbering 2010 Dandi route is now "National Highway 64". [2]
Both the places have significance in the Indian independence movement in the form of Dandi March in 1930.
