The Xavier Musketeers are composed of 18 teams representing Xavier University in intercollegiate athletics, including men and women's basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, swimming, tennis, indoor track and field, and outdoor track and field. Men's sports include baseball. Women's sports include volleyball. The Musketeers compete in the NCAA Division I and are members of the Big East Conference.[1] Its official colors are Xavier Blue (PMS 289), Silver Metallic (PMS 877), Silver Gray (PMS 422) and White.[2]
On March 20, 2013, the Xavier administration announced that the school would leave the Atlantic 10 Conference to join the Big East, and moved to the new conference July 1, 2013.[3]
