After many production attempts, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves finally hits the big screen
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is a fantasy action-adventure comedy produced by Paramount Studios. The film was originally written by Michael Gilio and Chris McKay, who receive story credits. The writing and directing roles were eventually transferred to filmmaking duo Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley (Horrible Bosses) after a few failed production starts. The film stars Chris Pine, who plays Elgin the Bard. He is joined by Regé-Jean Page (Bridgerton) as swordmaster Xenk the Paladin. Michelle Rodriguez plays the fierce Holga the Barbarian, and Sophia Lillis plays Doric the Druid. Justice Smith adds a touch of magic as Simon the Sorcerer. The villain of the film, the Rogue Forge Fitzwilliam, is played by none other than Hugh Grant, who has deviated from his romcom days to take on more sinister film personas. Additionally, some of the cast from the Dungeons & Dragons web series, Critical Role, are also set to make cameo appearances.
