You need to wear your activity tracker regularly to get the most out of it, and there is not always the time or opportunity to charge it regularly. Fortunately, many use lower-power displays than smartwatches, meaning you can get weeks and months of battery life rather than a few days.

These fitness trackers have the most extended battery life we've seen.

Six Months

The Zip isn't the obvious first choice if you're considering purchasing a Fitbit device. Its functionality is somewhat limited compared to other options, and it tracks only steps, distance, calories burned, and active minutes.

However, it's worth considering if you need extended battery life.

This tracker features a replaceable coin battery that lasts four to six months, so you won't have to worry about whether it will last you through the end of the week.

The Garmin Enduro 3 GPS Smartwatch was designed for ultra-endurance athletes. It's scratch-resistant, water-resistant to 100 meters deep, and has a built-in flashlight.

Best of all, it can last up to 90 days (about three months) on one charge, and it can charge via solar power during the day when there is ample sunlight.

The Withings ScanWatch 2 has an array of fitness and health features, including ECG tracking, sleep tracking, standard activity tracking, and swim tracking.

You can choose from a few finishes, wristband materials, and colors to make the watch your own.

Its rechargeable battery lasts about a month (30 days) before needing a charge.

Amazfit's T-Rex Ultra Smart Watch is another super rugged option that can withstand water, mud, and extreme cold and heat. You can take it nearly anywhere, even freediving up to 30m deep.

You get all this alongside a 20-day battery life.
