To help underperforming team members thrive, i usually started with below mentioned action items 1. Facilitate peer learning through mentorship and collaborative projects to share expertise and foster engagement. 2. Implement innovative feedback tools like real-time check-ins or anonymous suggestion platforms to provide continuous, constructive input. 3. Encourage them to undertake passion projects that align with their interests, igniting motivation and creativity. 4. Created skill-exchange sessions where team members can teach each other new skills, fostering a culture of mutual growth and support.

As a leader , be clear about the your team individual roles & responsibility . Work should be assigned based on skills, experience & profile . For underperformance , please treat them with full respect & deal with empathy. Understand why this is happening, whether it is skill or will issue & the tackle accordingly. Motivate them through guidance, support & act as helping hand. Improvement might be slow process , be patient (keeping in mind company's policy). If possible make proper plan for them
