I'd start small, for ex: take a project where someone is using manual work on crunching numbers to inform the leadership on how things are going, automate the piece and show the importance of data gathering, then work on showing the power of visualization and then start combining the data with other business unit and then predictive analytics etc. take data projects slow and make sure everyone understands what they bring to the table and train if needed and always respect everyone opinion.
