IP conflicts are unique in as much as your right is in rem but you are seeking resolution in personam. Resolving an IP conflict requires lateral thinking to find solutions that could possibly be a win-win instead of resulting in protracted litigation. One interesting conflict resolution i handled many decades during nascent stages of online animation and gaming content was to resolve an infringement dispute through licensing processes!
