In my option I have seen most organisations fail to receive the correct details of customer being updated in the system . You have to be closer to your customer understand their unmet needs . You then just have to fine tune the details as per your requirements .

I have observed that many a times customers are angry because the product is not available. Any pacification from sales and CRM team doesn't help to resolve the issue. Shortage of product in market means loss of a big opportunity. Rationing products, lifting expensive products from one region to another region helps to some extent. It is also possible that company doesn't have adequate storage capacity, especially in cities and small countries like Singapore, Hong Kong and many others. I had suggested one creative way to such a company for storage of products. In countries where storage space demands premium, products can be properly stored on a ship, ship docked for downloading product and returns to the sea. This resolved storage issue.
