Ofereça feedback construtivo e incentive a escuta ativa.

As a expert first with assertive communication Second redirect the conversation Third use time management techniques to keep meeting on track Fourth I will use nonverbal cues to discourage interruptions

First and the foremost is that the problem statement needs to be more specific. The nature of disruption being caused by the team member will say a lot about the manner in which the situation needs to be tackled! That being said, one of the primary reasons for a team member to be disruptive could be a lack of involvement or understanding. This can be effectively handled by highlighting the primary focus and agenda of the meeting at the start for better assimilation of all team members.
-
Before any meeting, there must be a well communicated agenda and team members must be made to adhere to it. At the meeting, ground rules must be established. Members must speak in turns with no one interjecting another. With these and other points contributed, meetings will go on smoothly.

This is a great discussion on how to deal with a disruptive team member in the meeting 🤝 1-First and foremost no meeting is meant to be run without the rule governing the building that meaning will not bring forth what it ought to therefore rules and regulations must be put in place and every single member must abide to without respect to anyone. 2-Fines should always be put in place for members that will go against the rules ie unnecessary making of noise in the meeting without genuine reason this will reduce and someone is put in place to monitor this act. 3-Team members that like disrupting the meeting can be assigned responsibility this will help him or her keep focused.

-
Start by setting clear rules for respectful communication at the beginning of the meeting. Politely stop their interruption and guide the discussion back by saying something to finish their point first. If they keep interrupting, talk to them privately afterward, explaining how this affects the team work and suggesting they share ideas at certain times. Creating a respectful environment and showing good listening skills can encourage positive behavior.
-
-
Handle disruptions by: Setting clear ground rules at the start of meetings. Addressing interruptions directly and respectfully in real-time. Encouraging balanced participation by inviting others to contribute. This keeps meetings focused and ensures everyone stays engaged.
-
