Despite what this article says, you cannot ensure that your other social media channels will ever catch up with your top performer. Because you don't control where your target audience is and what they do there.
-
Repurpose Content: Adapt successful posts from the high-traction account to fit the tone and style of your other platforms, ensuring consistent messaging. Cross-Promote: Leverage the popular account to promote and link to your other social media channels, encouraging your engaged audience to follow you there. Tailor Strategies: Analyze what’s working on the successful account, then customize that approach for each platform's audience and strengths to boost engagement across the board.
-
Utilise the success of one social media platform to drive the others. How to synchronise your success is as follows: Cross-promote content: To increase reach and engagement, share your platform's most well-liked pieces and highlights on other social media platforms. Analyse and replicate: Consider what worked for your content and use those same tactics, tailoring them to the unique characteristics of different platforms. Participate regularly: Remain responsive and engaged across all channels by following trends and communicating with your followers on a regular basis.

This article headline appears ludicrous. Consistent engagement and the cross-promotion of content across platforms are great, but the goal should be to find out WHAT your audience likes and WHERE your audience spends more of their time. Why waste time and money trying to ensure all platforms are equal to your top performer? If that is where most of your fans/buyers are, they spend more time and money there. Period.
-
To help your less active social media accounts catch up, start by analyzing what’s driving the success of the thriving account. Identify which strategies, content types, or engagement tactics are working well. Apply these insights to your other accounts by adapting the successful elements to fit their specific audiences. Increase cross-promotion between accounts to drive traffic and visibility. Finally, set clear goals and monitor performance to make continuous improvements and maintain balanced growth across all accounts.

Each account has it's own individual personality and you cannot ensure that all accounts will grow at the same pace. Recently we ran into this situation with two of our hotel accounts. One of them needed updated content, rebranded hashtags and updated keywords in the bio to stimulate growth. Treat each account and their audiences individually and create content that is authentically and specifically curated for them.
-
Repurpose content for your other channels, collaborate and create mutual content together, and mention your other brand in your posts. Your fans can start following you on your other channels. However, there's no 100% guarantee that most of them will do so, especially if the niche is different. For example, people may not be as interested in another niche.

To ensure all social media accounts catch up, I’d analyze what’s driving traction on the successful account and apply those strategies across other platforms. I’d tailor the content to fit each platform’s audience, maintain consistent branding, and cross-promote between accounts. Engaging with followers, running targeted campaigns, and using analytics to track performance would help optimize results and balance growth across all channels. #SocialMediaStrategy #GrowthHacks

I'd dive deep into what's driving the successful account's growth. Is it content type, posting frequency, audience engagement tactics, or platform-specific features? In a previous role, we discovered our Instagram success was largely due to consistent use of Reels, which we then adapted for TikTok.
