Learning basics about various file systems, folder structures etc.. is a good start! Most people is not even aware of these basic things even if they are working in the so called "Sofware/IT Industry"!. Learning small things daily can help a lot. Atleast try to install a operating system after reading this. Doesn't matter which OS is it, you will learn lot of new things.

Tools like ifconfig or ip in Linux, and PowerShell in Windows, streamline network diagnostics and system configurations. Scripting with PowerShell, Bash, and using tools like rsync for backups or ssh for remote access has saved hours of manual work. Mastering commands like grep, awk, and sed allows for quick data parsing and control. Getting comfortable with the CLI will make you more efficient and versatile in handling diverse technical challenges.

GUI is essential for quick navigation, combining it with the CLI can greatly enhance your efficiency. In my experience as a systems administrator, using both interfaces allows for flexibility. For example, I often switch between the GUI and CLI depending on the task—using the GUI for quick access to settings, and the CLI for automation or deeper troubleshooting. In Linux, I prefer KDE for its customization and efficiency but drop into the terminal when needed. Mastering both tools in Windows, macOS, and Linux (KDE) environments is key to managing systems effectively and efficiently.
