I don't see a problem to answer, In a proply governed agile delivery stakeholders are invited to sprint review every sprint to see the progress followed by a demo, Once there are delays, every one in the project is aware and then sprint planning starts selecting from the backlog the most important stories to go into development of next sprint, this decision should include the business or stackholders, And the process is repeated until we have a release with MVP that everyone agreed on. So if agile practice is efficient and in place, relationship with stakeholders should be good.

Internal issues like absence, no solution yet or unclear requirements or incorrect implementations. 2. External issues like support from vendors or third parties or any other things which are not in control of your team.

On thing I have found helpful is honest communication, being upfront about delays and their reason - just avoiding sugar coating situations.Even if it a bad, it must be communicated without fail. Being proactive by identifying problems root causes, develop mitigation strategies and in these processes involve the stakeholders in it all. Also be able to manage the expectations by setting out realistic timelines and bing able to communicate changes to the expectations and the reasons of it.
