    Here's what content moderators should be doing during this election season: ✅ Moderate impartially—let policies guide actions over personal biases. ✅ Escalate threats promptly, and communicate, communicate, communicate. ✅ Stay informed on U.S. political dynamics and be vigilant about emerging risks. ✅ Know where to find true and reliable information as events progress. ✅ Stay alert post-election as the highest risks often emerge afterward. Working in Trust & Safety and Moderation during elections can be taxing, stressful, and chaotic. The expectations for T&S and Moderation teams are high, while internal guidelines and procedures may not be that clear. Challenges during this election cycle could look like: ⚡ The political landscape changes in a matter of minutes. ⚡ Misinformation spreads quickly and it can be challenging to discern facts from fiction. ⚡ Networks of bad actors organize disinformation campaigns with the intent of inciting confusion and skepticism regarding the legitimacy of the political process. ⚡ Threats of violence may undermine a peaceful transition of power. ⚡ New technologies such as AI can be weaponized for malicious purposes.     We're working on an ebook and master class all about Augmented AI with our team over at Crescendo AI! We're super excited to share some best practices and insights about how we think humans and AI can work together, rather than be at odds. Here's a little taste of what you can expect: One of the most interesting aspects of Augmented AI is how AI can analyze patterns to help support teams spot issues before they escalate. For example, imagine noticing a trend in customers reaching out about a discount code not working. AI can quickly flag this and alert your team, helping you solve the problem before it becomes widespread, keeping customers happy and saving time. Beyond that, you could program the AI to notice the conversations coming in about the discount code and respond to them, while your human team works on clearing the backlog. Or vice versa!
