This incredible honor from the U.S. Department of Education recognizes Williams’ commitment to academic excellence, dedication, and the outstanding achievements of our students and staff. Principal Light, Principal Shepardson, Williams Educators Kimberly Abderhalden and Sharon Gilmore, and Superintendent Curtis proudly accepted the award for the entire Williams Elementary School community. Our Berkshires Collaboration for the Barr Foundation Fall Portrait of a Graduate (PoG) convening. Educators from Pittsfield High School, Taconic High School, and Drury High School worked with our colleagues from Lowell, Springfield, and across the PoG network. Our focus on instructional rounds and looking at student work protocols was a great experience!
