What does your day-to-day look like? “I connect with hiring managers at Fortune 500 clients to understand their talent search and relay those specific needs to our recruiting team. Learning what “needle in a haystack” qualities the client needs helps us target the perfect contractor and direct-hire talent!” Why do you Swoon? "I "Swoon" because of our company's mantra, "Listen. Place. Care." because it's more than just a cute slogan on our website - it's our way of doing business! Swooners are empathetic and fiercely dedicated to our clients and contractors alike. That personal touch is reflected internally, too - I knew I found my professional home when I saw our LGBTQ Pride flags and record player in the office!" What do you like to do outside of work? “Lakefront walks, outdoor concerts, Purdue basketball, stand-up comedy, and continuing my endless search for the perfect pub cheese curds are a few of my favorite things!”

    Meet Our Swooner | Amanda, Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst Where do you call home? Chicago, Illinois How long have you been with Swoon? Amanda just celebrated her 1st anniversary! Join us in congratulating her! What made you decide to go into Finance? “I had no idea what I wanted to do with my future, so I took an accounting course in high school and loved the organization and numbers. I received my degree in business management with a sustainable business minor and have been working in finance for about 8 years now.” Why do you Swoon? “I “Swoon” because we are such a close-knit team whose camaraderie leads to making smart and effective decisions for Swoon, our clients, and amazing candidates. We continuously motivate, cheer, and build each other up! Swoon is like none other in the industry when it comes to our focus on diversity, equity, and community.” What do you like to do outside of work? “I enjoy being outdoors as much as possible, whether taking hikes at local forest preserves with my dog, yard work, or going off-roading all over the states with my husband. I also enjoy practicing new training skills with my German Shepherd and brushing up on the German language. All things spooky, dark, and witchy are my vibes. P.S. I love to go bowling (fun fact: I broke all the high school records back in the day!).”
