I had the amazing opportunity to participate in a virtual launch for my new book: #TeachersServeToo with contributors Dr. Anna Stubblefield and Dr. Victoria Hansen Stockton. We had an insightful and poignant discussion about the state of education, what we can do to support teachers better, and how we can move towards a future of equity for all students. Education is not going to improve itself. It should be glaringly obvious at this point the system is NOT going to self correct. It's going to take a real effort on our part and collaboration with not only new technologies but with education leaders and communities. If you believe in supporting students -- you have to believe in supporting teachers. That's why we are keeping the conversation going regarding #TeachersServeToo and want teachers to know that we will not let the conversation about educational equity and improvement get lost in the weeds.
