Founder & CEO @ Offor: the talent broker company. Creator of The Offor Method for hiring. Writing about the "work twisties."

For years, I avoided conferences. I told myself I had too much to do as the CEO of Offor. No clear ROI. Conferences = introvert's nightmare. The truth was I was waiting. For the baby weight to fall off.  For my hair and makeup to be just right. For old dresses made for a former me to fit. To feel good in the skin I was in. But today, I skipped Zoom. With its filters. And perfect backgrounds. And neck-up only view. And met the people. And made deals. And built relationships. With current CEOs And boards hiring them. With executives looking for the next chapter. And chief people officers looking to make their cultures worthy of the people in it. Turns out that the only person worried about my dress size was me. So to all the women who make decisions for boards and companies, but will try on 5 dresses & curse shapewear before walking out the door who have stayed in their hotel room working, instead of networking or hid behind their phone or laptop instead of talking to a stranger Tuck in someone's stray dress tag or twist Toss a "you look great" to the woman the next sink over fixing her makeup Salute the woman who just had her baby 5 months ago - and is here Watch how that changes how you feel about yourself. How it heals you. It did for me. We deserve to be here now. Building our networks And net worth. Now. Perfection can wait. #Culturecon #offor

You could have written this post for why I created C-Suite Pics! I’ve been too busy for photography for the last couple of years, but I can’t wait to get back to it in 2025! You rock, Ify!

I mean… how is it that EVERY post is a case study, sermon, and therapy session all in one? You are the gift that keeps on giving, friend, and I feel so blessed to be a CEO in the age of Ify. Thank you! 🙏🏾❤️

Yaaas and lets be clear - perfection doesn’t exist. And if we keep holding ourselves to it or some version of it we are missing the journey.

Ify, I'm looking forward to meeting you in person, whether at a conference or over coffee. You are someone whose thoughtfulness, wisdom, and empathy are some of the most substantive attributes that anyone who meets you will certainly recognize first.

Yes and yes again. And the truth is that having my babies actually made be a better leader. I’m even stronger than I was before bc I now deeply know what I can do. Girl. Make the deals. And take up all the space.
