Greetings from Torreón, Mexico! If you’ve never been here, you probably have no idea how intense the heat can get this time of year. Right now, I’m sitting on the patio, watching the fountain as the water gently falls—so calming and relaxing. The sun is shining, and it feels amazing... but let me tell you, I am melting! 🥵 It’s extremely hot, and I’m sweating buckets. And then, out of nowhere, an ad pops up for a well-known brand from the Northeast U.S., promoting... light sweaters. Are you kidding me??? 😅 Talk about bad timing! At this moment, there’s no way I can even think about a sweater, let alone consider buying one. ❌🧥 This got me thinking about business... As women coaches and service-based business owners, timing is everything. Why being mysterious isn't sexy. In business. As women, we are told to be many things. One of them is to be quiet. Don't "brag" about: ❌ What you do.  ❌ Your accomplishments.  ❌ How much money you make. It can make people feel uncomfortable. You can be ambitious but keep it contained, okay? So, very often, we shift the attention away from ourselves and what we want and help others build out their dreams. Does this sound like you: "I have been so busy building other people's dreams/brands/businesses that I feel I have nothing to show for it." 😔 OUCH. Many of my clients come to me when they are ready to take a leap of faith and bet on the best brand. Themselves. 🔥 In the process of unearthing their personal brands, there is a lot of unlearning that we do. The fear of judgement, failure and of being perceived as too pushy, keep many women from selling and sharing their stories. If you're battling these fears too, think about it this way.
