President, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics

On this day, we pause to honor all of the innocent lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001. We remember both the civilians and the heroes who stepped forward in unwavering service and sacrifice in the face of unimaginable tragedy, and we stand as one nation with their families and loved ones. We will never forget. We stand United. The events of 9/11 remind us of the enduring American spirit; service to others, sacrifice and honor, resilience during adversity and unity as a nation, along with the responsibility we all have to ensure a safer, more secure future.

I'm not taking a stance, just legitimately curious. How much did Lockheed Martin take in between 2003 and 2011. Specifically regarding equipment sales to US or coalition forces in the middle east. How much more revenue does that represent, than if there was no invasion– no 9/11. Does Lockheed Martin now, or have they supported first responders or families of those affected by the tower collapses? It's not their obligation, but I think you see where I'm going with this.

Beautifully said. Today, we remember and honor the lives lost on 9/11 and the bravery and selflessness of those who risked everything to help others. It's a reminder of the strength and resilience of the American people and the importance of coming together in times of crisis. Let us never forget the sacrifices made on that day, and let us continue to work towards a safer and more peaceful future for all. #NeverForget #UnitedWeStand 🇺🇸

I still remember the EXACT moment in time when I learned about what had happened at the WTC on the morning of September 11th, and I lost no one on that day. I can only imagine what it's like for anyone who lost a parent or a friend, or any of the brave rescuers who died then and thereafter. The missing twin towers are certainly a reminder of that tragedy, as the New York skyline has not been the same since in more ways than only visual.
