Military Warrior=Volunteer. The sacrifices of our military. That is the part that many often miss. Mothers and fathers leave their families to go to parts unknown to fight for the very freedoms we often take for granted. Many come back changed. This is a heartwarming video but it is only the feel Good Snapshot that does not show what goes on AFTER this moment. Military members, who deploy, are often disassociated when they return. They are not able to quickly get back to the day to day minutiae of being a part of the family because they have to turn those parts off in their brains to be able to cope while they are gone. Deployments are primary factors of divorce. Husbands and wives, at home, become susceptible to financial issues and emotional pulls to others. Deployed husbands and wives may struggle from the same. We need to ensure that our politicians are pro-military and that they support initiatives that not only increase defense budgets but ones that support family and individual counseling, employment initiatives for spouses, re-entry counseling for members who return, and crisis intervention for those who struggle mentally. These VOLUNTEERS are our frontline of defense. Protect them with your votes!
