What an awful movie this was. This has all the charm of being trapped inside of a pinball machine. That's literally what this movie feels like! And, at a certain point, the plot falls apart on you. "First viewing - Aug. 7th Jungle Cruise is a lot of fun despite essentially being a remake of Pirates of the Caribbean in a fresh coat of CGI. So many plot points from that film are carried over to this one it's laughable. Thankfully the performances from and chemistry between Johnson and Blunt help keep it worth watching. And Plemons is clearly having a blast with his character. But yeah, it's nothing we haven't seen before and were it not such a fun, breezy couple of hours I would have liked i"
