“I didn’t care much for ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ but, since it was apparently fairly successful at the box-office, they had to come up with a sequel and, since it was available on Disney+, I thought I might as well check it out. First of all, I did see the older version starring Peter Ustinov as Hercule Poirot but it was at least 10 years ago and, to be honest, I have to admit that I didn’t remember much about it which is usually not a good sign but, at least, it probably allowed me to appreciate more this new version by and with Kenneth Branagh. Well, I think it was an improvement on ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ both because  the story is simply better but also because Branagh, as a director, seemed to be more confident with the material this time around.
