On the face of it this shouldnt work - unoriginal story - plastic acting and some really bad 'infected'. But enjoyed it. Maybe because I love the zombie style movies, but I would watch it again.

A Howard Stern-esque rock star deejay is on for the night shift when chaos hits his home city of Los Angeles. This isn't just your garden variety riots or 6-point-something earthquake... It's flesh-eating zombies, and it's up to him to guide his listeners through a brutal night of terror.

"  'Ey, I got a question for you... have you wondered how a zombie apocalypse would affect you if you were a disc jockey secluded away in the confines a radio studio? If so, then have I got the film for you. It's called Pontypool and it came out in 2007. It's a good film and depicts what could possibly happen to that one angle of society during the end of the world via the spread of the dead.  Then, when you finish watching that movie, you can watch this one. It's also about a radio disc jock"

"  One of my favorite parts of most zombie apocalypse movies is watching how the outbreak starts at the beginning of it all. I think the idea of ground zero of a pandemic of walking dead is one that is rife with all sorts of story potential that we’ve barely tapped in this generously utilized subgenre of horror.  Back in 2007, the concept of a zom-apoc was explored from the perspective of an on-air disc jockey in a film called Pontypool (which should appear later on this list), and it was a p"

My Top 30 Halloween Favorites: Zombies (30 movies items)

"  When a zombie apocalypse occurs, it affects everyone, in every part of society. No matter where you are or what you do, if the dead are rising, it will eventually make its way to you. Say, for example, you're a disc jockey and you're on the air, earning your pay, locked away in a radio studio. It doesn't matter how secure one might feel in this kind of dire situation, because this kind of apocalypse is so widespread that the dead are going to find some way to get in. If that this kind of scen"
