"I really liked the weirdness of this film. And the performances were good too."
“This was another Dallas International Film Festival entry I watched. I didn't plan on watching it as I didn't know what it was. My friend though reall”

" Netflix- 1hr. 58min. First Viewing While the story does get a bit too frantically tangled, and the film never reaches the sky-high satirical milestones that it aspires to, High-Rise is messy critique of class and social structures that hits many of its targets, and is, at the very least, never less that interesting. I wasn't the biggest fan of the ending, but the story until that point was strong, and the cast is excellent. Also of note is the production design, which strikes the tricky balance"

" "This design does just what a teaser should do. It grabs your attention with an eye-catching image while giving almost nothing away, simply hinting at the dark tone of the film.""

"I don't understand it, I don't like it and it's mind-numbingly boring. Next."

"First viewing - Jan. 10th Here's yet another film I keep seeing on best-of lists for 2016, and in some ways I guess I can understand why. The acting is stellar and the visuals are often impressive. I wasn't so impressed with the story though, which gets a little bogged down in repetition and ran longer than I felt it needed to as a result. Plus the ending left me with a feeling of, really? That's it? ...so I can't say it'll be on my list for 2016, but I guess it was worth watching once. Curren"
