" Brian Kessler, a journalist researching serial killers, and his photographer girlfriend Carrie set out on a cross-country tour of the sites of the killings. Sharing the ride and their expenses are Early Grayce, a paroled white trash criminal, and his girlfriend Adele. As the trip progresses, Early begins to appear more and more unstable, and Brian and Carrie begin to fear that they may have a real-life killer in the back seat of their car. " First Viewing Viewing Date: September 5th Via: iTunes Store Plot: A journalist duo go on a tour of serial killer murder sites with two companions, unaware that one of them is a serial killer himself. Rating: 7.3/10 Why Did I Watch It? It drew comparisons to True Romance, which piqued my interest. When it showed up in the cheap rentals, I immediately bit."

" Date: 5/15/2019 Viewed: Amazon Prime Re-Watch Note: The last time I saw this movie when I was in High School back in 2007 on TV and I decided to rewatch it because it was on Amazon Prime. It holds up well and it is a very underrated movie in my opinion. The acting is great and I love the dark atmosphere that this movie has. The movie has a lot of great subtext in the story that most people seem to over look like "Should be considered government-sanctioned serial killings on a massive scale?""

"Some nice performances; but I just didn't care for the story at all"

"Re-watch - Dec. 29th Back in the '90s I really loved this movie. Pitt's performance is still excellent (and you can see shades of Tyler Durden and Mickey O'Neil here) and helps the movie rise above. The story of two couples going cross-country while stopping to document historical sites where murders occurred is interesting. Not everything about the film works well, but it's got some memorable moments and I'm still entertained by it."
