YO HO, YO HO! A PIRATE'S LIFE FOR ME First season was little bit lacky. Premise was good, characters interesting and colorful and sets gloriously beautiful but those wasn't enough to fully convince me on the show. But after second season, they did. "Superbly written and incredibly underrated, this is the definitive audiovisual story about piracy. Written as a prequel to Robert Louis Stevenson's classic book Treasure Island, but with some characters inspired by real life people that existed sprinkled in. The writing is spectacular and very unique where character psychologies influence the world and vice-versa in a clever way and dialogue is top-notch.
