You wouldn’t think the world of 1930s cinema and Mr. Skin would have much in common, but they actually do, and one of those things is actress Lucille Shearer. Lucille is one of the stars of the controversial nudist film The Unashamed from 1938, about a woman who brings her boss to a nudist camp in order to win his affections. Lucille plays Barbara Pound, an heiress who’s on the run from authorities and decides to hide out in the colony among the nudes. She goes pound for pound and skin for skin with the naked members, - painting, playing volleyball, and shooting arrows (verrrry carefully) while in the raw. You’ll shoot off a load of your own watching Lucille frolic in just her flesh but it appears to be your only chance because she was never again onscreen, nude or otherwise.
